Blindsight

Playing with audio is highly recommended!

In this game, the character experiences perceptual isolation and needs to rely solely on sound. Trapped in a dark cave and completely cut off from the outside world, you'll need to find a way to escape.

Made in 6 days for GoedWare Game Jam #11 on the theme "Isolation". At least half of my time working on the game was on the last level, with a little easter egg at the end that took me almost a day to set up 😉.

Controls

• WASD or Arrows: Move
• Hold Shift: Sneak
• Space: Clap

Gamepad is supported. You can move with the left stick or d-pad and use A and B (on Xbox controller) to sneak and clap.

Updated version

• Big visual update. It almost feels like a new game!
• Pause menu with buttons to quit the game or get back to the title screen.
• Gamepad support.
• Slightly improved cave environment (looks a little bit more natural).
• Bugfixes.
• New level accessible from the level select screen (level 11).
• New Easter egg at the end of the last level!
