Sub-Optimal
You're ready to use your brand new submarine to explore the ocean depths, but you notice that your vessel's engine might be a bit too powerful. It's impossible to navigate narrow labyrinths with such an uncontrollable vehicle! You'll have to damage your submarine by crashing into walls to reduce its power and continue your exploration.
Made in 2 days for Micro Jam 018 on the theme "Water" and prerequisite "Heath is power".
The game uses the environment Mini Micro with the MiniScript scripting language. This is my first game using it.

Yeah, I managed to get through all the levels finally. This game is brilliant!
Hey Florian, can you reach out on Discord? I'd love to talk with you about taking this game further. I think it could become a cult classic! 😁
As someone who's played through the whole game twice - just a confirmation that all levels are totally solvable! :)
Amazing game. Love the music, aesthetic, idea. Fit the theme really well. Amazing puzzle design too!
This is really well done! I love the background music, and it's an interesting puzzle mechanic I've never seen before. It took me a minute to realize that it is a turn-based puzzle game; at first I was trying to rush through the level quickly. But the dots that show where you're going to go made it pretty clear.
I think you should add a level counter on the screen somewhere, so I can say things like "I'm stuck on level 3."
...By the way, is level 3 solvable? It seems impossible to me!
Thank you for playing! I will probably update the game in a few days. Level 3 might be a little too confusing, especially since it's one of the first levels. I put a link to a walkthrough on the itch page if you want to see the rest of the game :)
Very fun game, and i love the mechanic of health making you move slower
Great job, especially with using Mini Micro!
Very cool, just difficult enough to keep you coming back. Great job!
Favorite one I've played so far this is awesome! Addictive immediately.
